The first ever True 4-way and 8-way Joystick, switchable from the top of your control panel. And the integrated mounting plate makes mounting easy.

The Omni-Stik PRODIGY delivers a firm feel and shorter throw for fast, super-precise operation.

The top mounted slider allows for fast switching between true 4-way and 8-way modes, which means there's no need to have a dedicated 4-way stick cluttering up your panel. As an additional benefit, the square shaped restriction in 8-way mode makes hitting diagonals a breeze for titles that require diagonal controls.

The 1.5" ball-top is large and comfortable and is perched upon a unique tapered shaft. This configuration results in a cross between the nostalgic ball-style sticks of years past, while incorporating the feel of the bat-style handles used in modern fighting games.

Be careful of joysticks claiming to be 4 and 8 way switchable. True 4-way sticks are designed so that two adjacent microswitches will never be triggered at the same time. The control should roll smoothly from one direction to the next with a very small "dead" space between the two. If your stick doesn't behave like this, then you are not getting the full advantage of having a real 4-way control. The OMNI-Stik PRODIGY gives you TRUE 4-way and 8-way control.

FAST and Reliable Mode Switching.

Switching between 4-way and 8-way modes on the OMNI-Stik PRODIGY takes less than 1 second. Simply slide the small, but easy to grasp, above-panel control from one side to the other and you're ready to play! No extra parts. No assembly. And perfect alignment every time.

Installing the OMNI-Stik PRODIGY (TM) System is simple. All required hardware is included. You just need to cut the hole for the main body (don't worry, it doesn't need to be a pretty as the ones in the pictures) and drill four 5/16" holes. Every unit even comes with a printed 1:1 scale paper template to make installation easy.

Top Mount:

This is the simplest method. Just trace the template, cut the hole with a jig saw or router and drill the 5/16" dia. holes. Drop in the OMNI-Stik PRODIGY (TM) Joystick System, secure it with the included washers and nuts and you are ready to do your wiring!

Flush Mount:

This method is the same as the Top Mount, only here you would add the final step of tracing around the plate before securing it to the board. Then remove the system and route a ~.100" deep pocket for the top plate to nest into. Then finish installation as described above.

Heavy-Duty Construction.

The OMNI-Stik PRODIGY Arcade Joystick System is manufactured to the tightest tolerances, using heavy-gauge steel and other highly-durable materials. The microswitches are made by Cherry and rated for approx. 1,000,000 cycles.

Each unit is carefully assembled, calibrated and tested to ensure long life and trouble free operation.

The top plate is laminated with heavy 10mil (,010") thick, textured black poly material. This is the same material used by many as a control panel cover and has a proven track-record for durability and good looks.

The OMNI-Stik PRODIGY Arcade Joystick System is simply the toughest, best performing and best looking 4-way / 8-way switchable joystick available.
