Shipping & Returns

New Postal Rates and Delivery Options as of May, 2007. 

The new USPS rates equate to about a 20% hike on domestic orders (to U.S. and U.S. Territories.) However, shipments to international addresses have incurred an almost 100% increase for the same level of service formerly associated with the most often used option (Global Priority Mail,) which no longer exists.

In an attempt to provide better service and lower-cost delivery to domestic and international customers, we have added new delivery options. Note: These may not show as options for all orders. They are as follows:

Flat Rate Priority Mail:


Please, use your best judgment when selecting this option! Orders selected for flat rate delivery that cannot be safely shipped by this method will not be processed and be delayed until we are able to remedy the situation through contact with you.

Flat Rate Boxes:
 

If your order can physically fit into either a 11" x 8.5" x 5.5" or 13.625" x 1.875" x 3.375" box, it can be delivered via this option. Weight is unlimited for domestic orders, but it still must fit safely within the physical dimensions of the box.


Priority Mail International:

This is the new, more costly than the former "Global Priority", delivery option. The USPS states that it is tracked and includes minimal indemnification service. It is somewhat less costly than the Express Mail International service. However, it may be a good option to save expense if you can withstand a delay of a couple of extra days for your order.

Express Mail and 
Express Mail International:

Domestic:

We now offer Express Mail for domestic destinations. However, it is much more expensive than domestic Priority Mail, and we cannot guarantee "overnight" delivery. At best, a 1-2 day reduction in delivery times over Priority Mail will be realized. It is recommended only for very time critical orders.

International:

This option is essentially unchanged from the former "Global Express Mail" option. The cost and features are virtually identical. It may be a good option for quick delivery outside of the U.S.

First Class International:

This class of delivery is the least costly method of delivery. The maximum weight for this delivery option is 4lbs. It is very slow and delivery times will vary greatly based upon destination. 2-4 week delivery times should be expected. We do not recommend the use of this option for items requiring delivery in a timely manner.


Please understand that the new rate structure is more complex than the store can handle internally, but the charges will be correct 99.5% of the time. However, in the other rare cases, adjustments may need to be made to shipping charges after the order has been placed. We will ALWAYS contact you for your approval before changing the amount charged to your credit card if this becomes necessary.



Return Policies. 


Our main policy is to try to make our customers happy and we will do everything we can, within reason, to make this happen. But everything below are the rules at the "end of the day". 

All of IDVT Inc. manufactured products available on GroovyGameGear.Com are guaranteed against defects for 30 days from the date of the invoice. For products manufactured by other parties, customer should contact the manufacturer directly for warranty replacement/repair service, unless otherwise noted.

Any product(s) that has been damaged as a result of accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassemble, repair or modification will not be covered.

Refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of GroovyGameGear.Com. Items that are removed from their original packaging or used may not be returned.� Any Shipping costs are NON-REFUNDABLE and a 10% restocking fee will be applied in all cases.

Shipping damages: All packages are inspected before shipping to ensure they are in good condition. If you receive a damaged package, please note the problem when signing the receipt and inform both GroovyGameGear.Com and the freight carrier. All claims must be made within two (2) days of delivery. Keep all boxes and packaging until further advised. 

If you have received an item and you think it is defective, please contact technical support before requesting an RMA number. All products manufactured by IDVT Inc./GroovyGameGear.Com are thoroughly tested before being shipped. To date, we have never recieved a non-working return. But we do know that it's possible for problems to occur and want to exhaust all possibilities before we, or our customers, incurr any unnecessary expenses.

We cannot guarantee against incompatibility, as it is impossible to know every system configuration in use. However, in cases involving products made by IDVT Inc. (KeyWiz, etc..), we will do our best to make sure you don't get stuck with
